The nickname, Mriya, is the largest aircraft ever built. Six engines power massive 640 tonnes of maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) and up to 200 tonnes of payload or cargo. If the fuel tank is being full, it takes weight about 300 tonnes and 15,400 km of flight range. This performance makes An-225 to be outstanding strategic air lifter. It manufactured by Antonov, Ukraine (was Soviet Union), most of it flight missions are cargo chartered services, its customers are US government, Germany, France and Russia. The Mriya even can carry Buran, the Russian spacecraft.
